The Australian Gold Dry Oil still remains our favorite. Our reasons are simple. Mineral Oil based suntan lotions ruin swimwear. Mineral Oil is a petroleum product. It eats away at the lycra® and rubber elastic in your swimsuit. It can stain your swimsuit. Water based suntan lotions do not. Ever had the experience of the elastic it your swimsuit losing its stretch and then losing its rebound ? You can bet money it was the mineral oil in your suntan lotion, or, the chlorine in you swimming pool or spa. You don't want to clog your pores with mineral oil anyway.
